Things to do before heading out.

Wow. These next 9 days are going to be hectic like nobody's business. You all ever hear of a W2 form? It's got somethin' to do with how much you made in the last fiscal year and how much was taken out for taxes. Quite an exciting document. Anyhow, apparently for income tax i need those documents for the last two places i've worked...Puetz Golf and Pizza Hut. Here is the catch. I was most certainly mailed both of these items, but since i've never done income tax before i didn't know what the hell was supposed to do with them, so i simply threw them out...or better yet tossed them in some uncertain location on the floor of my room....i hope that latter. I need to find these forms or else i need to get copies of them...does anyone know how to get copies?

Item number 2. I must apply to SPU because they receive the majority of their applications before a first deadline of November. Well, as you all know, i will not be here in November so i must apply before i leave. Balls! I don't even know where to start. This mostly frightens me because of how hectic everyone was with getting their applications sent off during the school year.

Item number 3. I should probably figure out exactly what i will be taking with me in my backpack. This seems like an easy task, because i will have much less luggage than with any trip i've taken before. Here's the catch, i actually have to think about what i will need to live...because this is not exactly a "vacation"...i don't even know what i would call it. A journey? Anywho...i've got to run around and get everything that i need this week. Oh and did i mention that i work today (Saturday), Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday? Where to find time...

Item number 4. This would not normally make such a list, however, my room is an exception. I need to clean it. Badly. It's dusty, crowded, i'd say more swamp like than room like. My parents intend to turn my room into a guest bedroom while i'm away, so it actually has to be clean.

Item number 5. I need to see everyone for the last time...at least the people i still can see...so i need to have my party. Seeing as how i don't have any time to plan one...i think i'll just tell people to come and bring food...seeing as how that seems to be the easiest plan.

Well...i'm sure there's more but i'll find that out much later in the week once i'm done with all this! (Hopefully).

Tim is in Dublin and I am in Seattle

Well the trip has begun! For some of us at least. Tim has been in Ireland with his Mom and Brother Zach for just about a week now and has phoned me twice with updates. Word is that Tim can hear the drunk Irish from blocks away, singing away in merriment from the pubs. The second word is that things are much more expensive across the Ocean, a truth that i hoped would turn out to be a fable. But hey, i figure it's like this: I generally buy stuff cheaper over here if i can...such as...i do not usually pay money for the most expensive water bottle...just something that will do the trick. So...in Europe...it goes like this...instead of getting the cheaper water bottle i'll be forced to buy the gold water bottle with the grip action for easy usage. I say balls! But then again, what's a vacation without a price?

So looks like i leave in 11 days and i'm a little freaked out. What i need...in your comments...are words of encouragement. We still need people to stay with in Europe also...so if you know anyone who might know anyone who lives in Europe that would want to host us...let me know via a wonderful little comment. AND REMEMBER FOLKS. We will be there for 3 months! That means if you find out you know someone in Greece...but you don't find out until October...THAT'S FINE. We won't be in Greece till November! So keep giving us words of encouragement as we update this blog ALL throughout our trip...not just before I leave! If you have any tips as to what we should include in our blog let us know so that we can relay all the info of what's happening to us...to you! Pictures will be posted as well.

I'd say in a few days once Tim and i talk a bit more we will create a better outline of our itinerary...i think i spelled that wrong but maybe it's just one of those words!...and i will post it on here so you all can get SUPER excited and jealous. So. As for now. I want as many people reading this as possible as we won't be posting TOO many posts...and i'm going to have a going away party get together sometime before i leave so that i can see everyone before i leave...at least those of you who have not left already!

Ps there might be another party on Friday the 31st for those of you who can't make it on the 30th... i might host one of them at my house and one of them at a park...you know!
